Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to join our 2nd shift team at our food manufacturing facility. This hands-on leadership role requires someone who can operate warehouse equipment, oversee daily operations, and ensure an efficient workflow while maintaining food safety and quality standards. Experience in cold storage environments is a plus! If you have a strong background in warehouse leadership and enjoy being on the floor with your team, we want to hear from you!
Lead and oversee warehouse operations during the 2nd shift, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and safety.
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling machinery.
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with food safety regulations.
Assign tasks to warehouse team members, monitor performance, and provide hands-on support as needed.
Maintain organization of inventory, oversee stock movement, and conduct regular cycle counts.
Train and mentor warehouse employees on best practices, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
Ensure all warehouse activities comply with food safety, OSHA, and company policies.
Communicate effectively with production, logistics, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth operations.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate necessary maintenance or repairs.
Monitor and enforce cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain a food-safe environment.

Job Requirements
2+ years of warehouse leadership experience, preferably in a food manufacturing or distribution environment.
Experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment (certification preferred).
Cold storage experience is a plus!
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and food safety regulations.
Ability to lead by example, work hands-on, and effectively manage a team.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Willingness to work the 2nd shift and occasional overtime as needed.
