Soldering Operator
Location: Greenville, TX
Employment through York Employment for a leading electronic manufacturing company
The Soldering Operator plays a vital role within the production team. This position is responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components using specialized equipment, preparing products for shipment, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assemble parts and subassemblies to create finished components.
Utilize hand tools and machines to perform precise assembly tasks.
Solder all levels of electronic components onto Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) in accordance with specifications.
Perform SMT (Surface Mount Technology) and through-hole hand soldering to IPC standards.
Conduct quality control inspections throughout the assembly process.
Follow detailed assembly instructions outlined in the green book guide.
Work with both leaded and lead-free solder materials.
Clean and maintain the work area, tools, and equipment.
Operate manual and electronic tools such as soldering irons, de-soldering devices, and solder removal tools.
Rework, repair, and modify PCBs and assemblies to meet specified requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Examine connections for proper fit and secure parts and subassemblies during the assembly process.
Meet established daily production goals.
