Job Description
As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the shipment of products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all shipping processes. Your key responsibilities will include preparing packages, verifying contents, and organizing shipments for timely delivery. With a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, you will help ensure the smooth operation of our shipping activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Select appropriate packaging materials (boxes, containers, padding) based on the product type and shipping specifications.
Securely pack items with proper cushioning, wrapping, and sealing to protect against damage during transit.
Verify product quantities and inspect items for quality control before packaging.
Generate and apply shipping labels to packages, ensuring accurate identification and correct labeling.
Use shipping software or systems (e.G., UPS, FedEx) to create manifests and track shipments.
Coordinate with carriers and freight companies to arrange pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely shipment dispatch.
Organize packages for efficient loading and unloading, following safety guidelines and shipping priorities.
Maintain accurate records of packages, tracking numbers, and shipping documentation for inventory control and customer support.
Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure products are ready for shipment and orders are fulfilled on time.
Communicate with internal teams to provide shipment updates and resolve any shipping-related issues.
Adhere to 6S principles for a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
