Job Description
Our manufacturing plant is seeking a dependable and precise Punch Press Die Setter (Setup Technician) to join our team. This role is responsible for setting up presses of varying sizes, selecting and installing appropriate fixtures, loading sheet metal coils, and supporting the operation of metal stamping equipment as needed. Accuracy and consistency are essential, as is performing quality assurance checks using precision measuring tools.
Set up presses and fixtures according to job specifications
Load coils of sheet metal and stamping dies onto presses
Conduct quality assurance inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Troubleshoot equipment issues and make adjustments as needed
Assist press operators during production runs
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards

Job Requirements
Proven experience as a Die Setter / Setup Technician in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of press setup, fixtures, and stamping operations
Ability to read blueprints and follow job orders accurately
Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work safely and follow all company procedures
