SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Position located in Chicago Area (Schaumburg, IL)
Roles and Responsibilities
Maintain ongoing library of RFI/RFP responses and assist in preparation, development and transmittal of RFI/RFP/RFQ responses to potential customers.
Work closely with subject matter experts at all levels of the organization to gather relevant company facts, SOPs and other content. Make updates as necessary.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to maintain inventory of marketing content and branding guidelines.
Work closely with the Sales and Account Management team to ensure all customer facing materials (RFP responses, Presentations, etc.) reflect current branding guidelines. Maintain quality control - consistent formatting, proofreading, etc. - of outgoing materials.
Create presentations to include company capabilities, sales initiates updates, customer meetings, customer business reviews, etc.
Responsible for routine administrative support including ordering office supplies, purchase orders, meeting support, new employee set-up, etc.
Maintain Sales team contact sheet and organizational charts.
Assist in facilitating onboarding of new team members.
Maintain accurate facility profiles and related materials
Make updates to the department portal to ensure content and tools are relevant and accurate.
Must possess strong oral and written communications skills
Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
Familiar with the 3rd Party Logistics, - preferred
Strong orientation toward teamwork; ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment ability to foster team orientation.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred
Strong computer skills including: customer relationship management software (CRM), MS Office applications (including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Google Workspace
