Job Description
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join our team as a Receiving Clerk with Forklift Experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the receiving process, accurately recording incoming shipments, and operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move and organize materials within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials and verify their accuracy against purchase orders and shipping documents.
Unload trucks and containers using both stand-up and sit-down forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
Inspect incoming shipments for damages, discrepancies, or defects and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
Record and document received materials in the inventory management system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Organize and store received materials in designated warehouse locations, following proper inventory management procedures.
Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed to maintain accurate inventory records.
Prepare and stage materials for outgoing shipments, ensuring they are properly labeled and packaged for delivery.
Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries in the warehouse.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a receiving clerk or in a similar role in a warehouse or distribution center.
Valid forklift certification and experience operating both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects and materials as needed.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
