Job Description

Responsibilities

Initiate complaints and assess Medical Device Reporting (MDR) reportability.

Adhere to the complaint handling process and related Quality System procedures under close supervision.

Conduct complaint investigations by following established job aids and procedures, including sample evaluation (handpiece and console), sample receiving, reviewing complaint records (such as DHRs, service calls, and RIFs), and performing root cause analysis.

Oversee the Complaints Lab, including coordinating the calibration of equipment/tools, ensuring lab cleanliness and supply maintenance, organizing returned samples, and managing disposal processes.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Quality Control as needed.
Ensure compliance with Quality System procedures and company policies.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both internal and external customers.
Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Capable of thriving under pressure and meeting deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering exceptional customer service.

Ability to work independently, completing tasks within established guidelines and standard practices.

High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
0-2 years of experience in a regulated industry, preferably in medical devices.


Physical Requirements

Ability to safely perform essential job functions in accordance with ADA, FMLA, and other applicable standards, including meeting productivity benchmarks.

Must maintain regular and punctual attendance in line with ADA, FMLA, and other regulations.

Ability to safely lift and move up to 25 lbs.
Effective communication skills to convey information clearly and accurately.

Capable of remaining stationary for up to 50% of the time.

Ability to move around the office to access files, machinery, etc.
Keen attention to detail, able to observe specifics at close range.
