We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to join our team at a leading Frozen Novelties Manufacturing facility in Phoenix, AZ. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the production of high-quality frozen products, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and a safe work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily production operations, managing team performance, and maintaining compliance with food safety standards.
This position is available for both 1st and 2nd shifts, and the starting salary is a minimum of $55, 000 annually, with opportunities for growth based on experience and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Production Operations:
Oversee the daily operations of the production line, ensuring that production targets are met, timelines are followed, and product quality is maintained according to company standards.
Team Leadership:
Manage, train, and motivate a team of production workers to achieve operational goals. Provide guidance and feedback on performance, ensuring a high level of team engagement and productivity.
Quality Control & Food Safety:
Ensure all products meet the company s quality standards and adhere to all food safety regulations (FDA, USDA, HACCP, etc.). Monitor production processes to minimize defects and waste.
Production Scheduling:
Coordinate the production schedule with the planning team to ensure product output aligns with customer demands. Make real-time adjustments as needed to address production delays or material shortages.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
Address and resolve any production issues that arise, working with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operations. Perform minor troubleshooting and ensure equipment is running smoothly.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate production records, including shift reports, quality control logs, and inventory counts. Submit daily production reports to management as required.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safe handling of equipment, and adherence to OSHA guidelines.

o Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production environment, preferably within the food manufacturing industry (frozen foods, baked goods, or similar).
o Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly preferred.
Skills:
o Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
o Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues.
o Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations (FDA, USDA, HACCP, etc.).
o Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and production software.
Education:
o High school diploma or equivalent required.
