Job Description
Are you an energetic, reliable leader who thrives in a fast-paced, food production environment? We re seeking a Warehouse Lead to join our team during the 2nd and 3rd shifts at our frozen food distribution facility. If you re someone who takes initiative, values quality, and understands the importance of accuracy in inventory and food safety, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency, safety, and product quality.
Train and support team members; foster a high-performing, accountable work culture.
Monitor and investigate inventory discrepancies using digital systems and physical checks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment at all times.
Lead sanitation efforts, equipment disassembly, and reassembly for cleaning.
Communicate effectively with operators and management.
Perform quality checks on raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
Complete and audit food safety documentation and logs.
Support cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
What We re Looking For:
Strong computer skills and ability to learn inventory and production tracking systems.
Solid understanding of inventory control and problem-solving discrepancies.
Experience in the food industry is strongly preferred (understanding of expiration dates, quality standards, etc.).
Ability to operate both stand-up and sit-down forklifts (certification required).
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
High energy, proactive, and doesn t need to be reminded self-starter attitude is essential.
Comfortable with physical work in cold environments.
