Job Title: Lead Quality Control Inspector Aerospace
Location: Corona, CA
Shift: 1st shift
Employment Type: Full-Time / Temp-to-Hire
Compensation: $25 $30/hour (adjustable based on experience)

Position Overview:
As the Lead Quality Control Inspector, you will oversee and coordinate all quality control activities within the production environment. Your role is critical in ensuring that all products meet stringent aerospace standards and customer specifications. You will lead a team of inspectors, provide training, and collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to maintain and improve quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Coordination:
Supervise and mentor a team of quality control inspectors.
Assign inspection tasks based on production schedules and priorities.
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss quality issues and improvements.
Inspection & Compliance:
Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
Utilize precision measurement tools (e.G., micrometers, calipers, CMM) to verify conformance to specifications.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, including AS9100, and customer requirements.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records.
Document non-conformances and work with engineering to implement corrective actions.
Prepare and present quality reports to management.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance product quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement best practices.
Training & Development:
Provide training to new and existing staff on quality standards and inspection techniques.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in quality control methodologies.

Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; ASQ certifications (CQI, CQT) preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control within the aerospace industry.
Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
Strong knowledge of GD&T principles.
Experience with quality management systems and inspection software.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Education & Experience:
