Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspections.
Diagnose mechanical issues and implement repairs to minimize downtime.
Conduct preventive maintenance to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
Utilize hand and power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and prioritize repairs based on production needs.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to production schedules.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory levels.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings through equipment upgrades or modifications.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in maintenance technology to enhance skills and knowledge.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification or apprenticeship preferred.
Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency with hand and power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
