Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal functioning of our facility, equipment, and grounds. This hands-on role requires practical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and basic plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, safety-conscious, and capable of performing a wide range of preventative and corrective maintenance tasks to support production uptime and facility integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Conduct routine preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility systems
Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment
Keep maintenance areas and storage spaces clean, organized, and compliant with 6S standards
Perform general facility upkeep, including painting, minor construction, and general repairs
Maintain building exteriors and surrounding grounds, including debris removal and basic landscaping
Oversee waste management and recycling activities across the site
Inspect tools and equipment regularly to ensure functionality and safety
Accurately document maintenance work and report hazards, repair needs, or inventory shortages
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues and assist with production downtime resolution
Adhere to all workplace safety policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying and recommending maintenance process enhancements
Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
At least 2 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing or facility environment
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, safety protocols, and operating instructions
Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as operational needs require
