Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing team.
The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background in mechanical systems, electrical systems, and preventative maintenance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with equipment, identify the root cause of problems, and implement effective solutions.
Repairs: Conduct repairs on machinery and equipment, including motors, conveyors, pumps, and production machines.
Installation: Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery.
Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and parts inventory.
Collaboration: Work closely with production staff and other maintenance team members to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruption to production schedules.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical certification or associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role within a manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
