Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for performing corrective and preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and product lines.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic. In this role, you will provide support in maintaining and repairing various machinery and equipment used in our operations. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced mechanics and develop your skills in a hands-on environment. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in performing preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, including lubrication, inspection, and adjustment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Support experienced mechanics in diagnosing issues, troubleshooting errors, and implementing effective repair solutions.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all equipment is maintained in compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
Conduct routine inspections of machinery, identify potential problems, and recommend proactive measures to avoid downtime and costly repairs.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed, including logging completed tasks, parts used, and any additional repairs needed.
Take part in training programs and actively seek opportunities to expand knowledge and skills in maintenance practices.
Assist in identifying and sourcing necessary spare parts, tools, and equipment to complete repair and maintenance tasks efficiently.
Adhere to established maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize equipment downtime.
Uphold a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Job Requirements
- Qualification in at least one of the following trades: Millwright, Welder, Fitter, Machinist, or Electrician.
- Ability to read technical schematics and drawings.
- Knowledge of relevant safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
