Job Description
Envelope manufacturing company in Ontario is looking for an experienced Machine Technician for the 3rd shift!
Job Overview:
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment used in our manufacturing facility. You will work to ensure that all equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently, minimizing production downtime caused by equipment failure. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial maintenance and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, equipment, and systems used in our manufacturing facility, including but not limited to, hydraulic systems, mechanical equipment, and electrical systems.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and component replacement.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and recommend solutions to minimize production downtime caused by equipment failure.
Order parts and supplies as needed for equipment maintenance and repair.
Conduct daily inspections and maintain accurate maintenance logs to track equipment performance, maintenance, and repairs.
Partner with other departments to ensure maintenance work is planned and executed in a way that improves manufacturing efficiencies while meeting safety requirements.

Skills and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Completion of a relevant vocational or trade school program is preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to understand and troubleshoot equipment.
Strong knowledge of safety procedures and ability to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position that requires working in a manufacturing facility. The work environment includes exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental factors. The position may require occasional overtime work.
