Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our maintenance team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment in our facility.
This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems on machinery and equipment.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to identify mechanical issues and determine repair procedures.
Install, align, and balance new equipment as needed.
Replace defective parts, such as bearings, filters, wiring, and switches.
Operate a variety of hand and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
Conduct inspections of mechanical systems, identifying potential issues before they lead to equipment failure.
Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe and clean work environment.
Collaborate with other maintenance staff and production teams to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in training junior mechanics or new team members as needed.

Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED; vocational training or technical certifications in mechanics or a related field preferred.
Proven experience (5+ years) as a Maintenance Mechanic or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Experience with welding, fabrication, or machining is a plus.
Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
Basic understanding of computer systems for maintenance tracking and reporting.
