Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to support our production team. This role is responsible for assisting with equipment malfunctions, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of production machinery. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
Assist production during equipment malfunctions, both electrical and mechanical
Communicate potential and actual equipment issues to the Production Manager to prevent breakdowns or disruptions
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or area issues promptly
Perform preventative maintenance on production and mechanical equipment according to guidelines
Complete assigned work orders efficiently and on time
Document all maintenance work accurately in logs, reports, or worksheets
Maintain maintenance tools in good condition and store them properly when not in use
Keep work area safe, clean, and organized
Perform special projects as assigned by management
Follow all rules and regulations to ensure food safety, product quality, and legal compliance
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members

Job Requirements
Ability to read, write, and speak basic English
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues
2 3 years of experience as a mechanic or maintenance technician in a manufacturing plant (electrical or mechanical experience preferred)
Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance (PM) procedures
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues
2 3 years of experience as a mechanic or maintenance technician in a manufacturing plant (electrical or mechanical experience preferred)
Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance (PM) procedures
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
