We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Clerk to join our team at a leading Frozen Novelties Manufacturing facility in Phoenix, AZ. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking the movement of raw materials and finished products, and ensuring proper stock levels for production and shipping. The ideal candidate will be organized, motivated, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment, helping to ensure smooth and efficient inventory operations.
This is a full-time position with a starting pay of $16.00 per hour, with potential for growth and advancement based on experience and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Tracking:
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels for raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products. Track inventory movements (incoming and outgoing), ensuring all products are accounted for and properly stored.
Stock Replenishment:
Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for production needs. Communicate with the purchasing team to order materials and supplies as necessary to avoid stockouts or production delays.
Product Organization:
Ensure products are stored correctly in the warehouse, using proper inventory management systems (e.G., FIFO or LIFO) to minimize waste and spoilage, especially in temperature-sensitive frozen goods.
Inventory Audits:
Perform regular physical counts of inventory to verify the accuracy of stock levels. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records.
Receiving & Stocking:
Assist with receiving shipments of raw materials or finished goods, verifying quantities, inspecting for damages, and ensuring proper storage. Update inventory records to reflect received items.
Reporting:
Maintain and update inventory records and logs, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of inventory data to supervisors and management. Provide reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and inventory trends as requested.
Quality Control:
Ensure that products are properly handled, stored, and rotated to maintain product quality and reduce waste. Ensure all inventory is stored in compliance with safety and food safety standards, especially for frozen products.
Warehouse Support:
Assist the warehouse team with general tasks as needed, including stock organization, picking, and packing. Ensure a clean and organized inventory area at all times.

Job Requirements
Experience:
Prior experience in inventory management, warehouse, or logistics is preferred, but not required.
Experience in food manufacturing or handling frozen products is a plus.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking and reporting.
Basic math skills for performing inventory counts and calculations.
Ability to use inventory management software or willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills for working with team members and reporting to supervisors.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Additional certification or training in inventory management is a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
Ability to work in cold environments (refrigerated or freezer areas) when handling frozen products.
