Job Description
Join a growing Electronic Recycling Center committed to environmental sustainability and safe e-waste disposal. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to help sort and process incoming electronic waste materials.
Position Summary:
The Electronic Waste Sorter will be responsible for identifying, sorting, and separating electronic components such as computers, monitors, cables, circuit boards, batteries, and other e-waste materials. Candidates must have prior experience working with electronic waste and a strong understanding of how to handle and categorize materials properly and safely.
Sort incoming electronic waste by category (e.G., plastic, metal, circuit boards, batteries, reusable items)
Inspect items for reuse, resale, or dismantling
Follow safety protocols when handling potentially hazardous materials
Dismantle electronics using basic hand tools (as needed)
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sorting area
Properly label and store sorted components
Assist with inventory tracking and material movement
