Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in a freezer environment.
The ideal candidate must have recent experience working in cold storage and proficiency in operating stand-up and cherry picker forklifts. This role involves handling and moving products efficiently and safely while ensuring temperature-sensitive items are properly stored and transported.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate stand-up and cherry picker forklifts to transport, load, and unload goods in a freezer environment.
Accurately pick and replenish inventory according to order specifications.
Perform daily equipment checks to ensure forklifts are functioning properly in cold conditions
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the freezer and surrounding areas.
Comply with safety standards, including proper use of freezer gear and equipment.
Monitor and ensure product integrity by following temperature control protocols.
Safely and efficiently stack and store products in designated locations.
Complete documentation for inventory and product movement as required.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
