Forklift Operator
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Associate with expertise in operating various types of forklifts including cherry picker, stand-up reach, and sit-down forklifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently and safely handling materials within our warehouse facility, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders, and maintaining a high level of organization and cleanliness in the warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate cherry picker, stand-up reach, and sit-down forklifts to safely transport materials and products throughout the warehouse.
Load and unload trucks, stack and store materials in designated areas, and ensure proper placement and organization of inventory.
Perform routine maintenance on forklift equipment, including pre-operational checks, and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Collaborate with warehouse team members to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently, including picking, packing, and staging products for shipment.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area, following all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed, accurately recording and reporting inventory levels.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding quality control, safety, and security of warehouse operations.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance forklift operating skills and knowledge of warehouse processes.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of experience operating cherry picker, stand-up reach, and sit-down forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Valid forklift operator certification/license.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving processes.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely, and to stand, stoop, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Flexibility to work occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to50 pounds.
Ability to operate forklift equipment and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
