Job Description
York Employment is hiring for a manufacturing company in Fontana.
Are you looking for a career with an established and stable company?
Our Forklift Operators are Responsible For:
Loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near plant, yard, or warehouse
Operating industrial forklift truck to assist in unloading and loading raw materials and product from trucks and trailers, while checking for proper material and count quality.
Notifying the Distribution Manager of the arrival of outstanding orders and any order discrepancies.
Following quality procedures for accuracy and quality, randomly checking a minimum of one order per day.
Changing LP tanks safely, following written guidelines, or recharges electric forklift as needed.
Shrink-wrapping units as needed in preparation for shipping.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, will fit in to the culture and have previous experience or mechanical aptitude.
Operating Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure, manuals and order specifications.
Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Mechanical and spatial aptitude.
Attention to detail, accuracy and quality.
Ability to move from task/assignment to another on short notice
Flexible to working weekends and over time when needed
