Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Sit Down Forklift Operator to join our team on the 2nd shift.
Job Summary:
The 2nd Shift Sit Down Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a sit down forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The operator will also be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate sit down forklifts to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks.
Safely and efficiently stack and retrieve goods and materials.
Ensure the accurate and timely loading and unloading of deliveries.
Conduct equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance checks to ensure the forklift is operating safely and efficiently.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist with inventory management by accurately counting and documenting materials.
Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a forklift operator.
Valid forklift certification is required.
Ability to operate a sit down forklift safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Ability to lift and/or move objects up to [insert weight limit, e.G., 50 pounds].
High school diploma or equivalent.
