Electronic Assembly Inspector

Job Summary:
As an Electronic Assembly Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of electronic components and assemblies. You will be responsible for inspecting electronic products at various stages of assembly to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Your keen attention to detail and technical expertise will contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing process.

Conduct thorough visual inspections of electronic components and assemblies to detect any defects, irregularities, or deviations from specifications.
Perform functional testing using specialized equipment to verify the performance and functionality of electronic products.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions to ensure proper assembly and alignment of components.
Utilize measuring tools and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy and alignment of electronic parts and assemblies.
Identify and document any non-conformities or discrepancies found during inspections, and communicate findings to appropriate personnel for corrective action.
Maintain detailed inspection records and documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and quality control records.
Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and production staff to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to electronic assembly and quality control.
Participate in training programs and continuous learning opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in electronic assembly inspection techniques.


Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in electronics or quality control is preferred.
Proven experience in electronic assembly or quality control inspection roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of electronic components, circuitry, and assembly processes.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
Familiarity with quality control principles, methodologies, and tools used in electronic manufacturing.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and analyze defects or discrepancies accurately.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in using measuring tools, gauges, and testing equipment for electronic inspections.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving quality issues.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
