Job Description
The Document Control Clerk is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and controlling engineering and production documentation to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with company and industry standards. This role helps ensure only current, approved documents are available for manufacturing and quality operations.
Maintain engineering drawings, blueprints, BOMs, and technical documents.
Manage document revisions and remove obsolete files from circulation.
Scan, file, and update records in ERP or document management systems.
Verify documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Coordinate document updates with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams.
Maintain organized electronic and hard-copy filing systems.

Job Requirements
Experience
1 to 3 years of document control experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience with Adobe Acrobat.
Familiarity with ERP or document management systems.
Ability to read engineering drawings is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
