Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team, a leading manufacturing company in the automotive field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for answering company phones, directing calls, assisting customers, entering orders, and troubleshooting order-related issues. This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:


Answer Company Phones: Promptly answer incoming calls, direct calls to the appropriate departments or personnel, and handle inquiries professionally.

Customer Assistance:
Provide outstanding customer service by addressing customer needs, answering questions, and resolving issues promptly and effectively.

Order Entry:
Accurately enter customer orders into the company's order management system, ensuring all details are correct and up-to-date.

Troubleshoot Orders:
Investigate and resolve any order-related issues or discrepancies, coordinating with other departments as necessary.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and order status. Generate reports as needed.

Product Knowledge:
Develop a thorough understanding of the company s products and services to better assist customers and address their needs.

Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and efficient operations.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improving customer service processes and suggest enhancements to management.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:


Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor s degree preferred.

Experience:
Minimum of 2-5 years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or related industry.
Automotive experience is highly desired.

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Proficient in using computer systems and software, including order management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.
