Job Description
Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment? We re looking for a skilled Dispatcher to help keep operations running smoothly, trucks on the move, and customers well taken care of.
In this role, you ll be the heartbeat of daily operations coordinating ready-mix deliveries, scheduling drivers, and maintaining clear communication to ensure every order is accurate and on time. You ll work closely with drivers, plant staff, and contractors to support efficiency and safety throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
Schedule and dispatch concrete trucks based on customer orders, traffic conditions, and plant logistics.
Monitor delivery routes and adjust schedules to meet delivery windows.
Operate batching plant controls and equipment to produce concrete mixes according to customer specifications, ensuring accurate material proportions for every batch.
Communicate with drivers and customers to set expectations and provide timely updates.
Maintain accurate records of orders, deliveries, and driver hours.
Work with sales and plant teams to prioritize orders and optimize load planning.
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and internal safety standards.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Prior dispatching experience (ready-mix or construction industry preferred).
Concrete batching experience required: minimum 1 year operating a concrete batch plant or working directly in batching operations.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
Familiarity with dispatching software (Command Alkon or similar is a plus).
Knowledge of local geography and traffic patterns.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends when needed.
