Job Description

Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing manufacturing company specializing in auto parts. With an annual sales volume of $35 million, we are on the cusp of a significant expansion, planning to increase our production capacity by adding additional production lines. As part of our strategic growth plan, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Cost Accounting Expertise:
Implement and manage robust cost accounting systems.
Analyze production costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resource allocation.

Financial Oversight:
Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

AP, AR, and HR/Payroll Oversight:
Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
Manage and streamline HR and Payroll processes.

Strategic Planning:
Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans to support the company's growth objectives.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.

Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Identify and mitigate financial risks.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation preferred, but not required.
Proven experience as a Controller in a manufacturing environment.
Strong cost accounting skills with a track record of optimizing production costs.
Proficient in overseeing AP, AR, and HR/Payroll functions.
Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
