Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce high-quality parts and components according to specifications.

This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.


Key Responsibilities:


Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and grinders.

Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine machine settings and operations.

Load raw materials and parts into the CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment and placement.

Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations and make necessary adjustments.

Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.

Troubleshoot issues and perform minor repairs as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines and protocols.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.

Document production activities, including machine settings, material usage, and inspection results.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:


High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC machining preferred.

Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator or similar role.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

Strong understanding of CNC machine operations, including G-code and M-code programming.

Knowledge of various materials, including metals and plastics, and their machining properties.

Ability to use precision measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if required.


Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds

Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and operating machines.

Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
