Job Description:

As a CNC machine operator you will play a critical role in our manufacturing process. You will be responsible for operating computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines to produce precision components and parts according to engineering specifications. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to quality will be crucial to the success of our production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Setup: Set up and prepare CNC machines, including loading materials, tool changes, and calibration.

Quality Assurance: Monitor machine performance and inspect finished parts to verify they meet quality standards and specifications.

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance, such as cleaning, lubrication, and tool replacement.

Troubleshooting: Identify and address any issues or errors in the machining process, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.

Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Documentation: Maintain records of production runs, machine settings, and quality checks.

Collaboration: Work closely with team members, including engineers, quality control, and other operators, to achieve production goals and resolve any issues that may arise.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator or similar role.
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
Knowledge of various CNC machining processes and equipment.
Ability to use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality parts.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Basic computer skills for data entry and machine control.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
