Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Aerospace Buffer to support the finishing of small, precision aerospace components. This role requires speed, accuracy, and strong attention to detail while working with very small parts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Buffing and polishing small aerospace parts to required specifications
Buffing metal door handles and hardware components
Line graining parts and bolts using a Time Saver machine
Chamfering materials to required grade
Sand blasting and bead blasting components
Reading blueprints and job orders to understand dimensions, tolerances, and finishing requirements
Selecting and setting up appropriate buffing wheels, sanding belts, and de-burring tools
Securing workpieces using fixtures, vises, or holding devices
Operating sanding, buffing, de-burring, and bead blasting equipment
Inspecting finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications
Following all safety rules and procedures at all times
Seeking guidance when clarification is needed
