Job Description
York Employment is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant for a growing manufacturing company. This position is in the West Valley of the Greater Phoenix Area! This position offers a great opportunity for an accounting professional with strong full-charge bookkeeping experience and a background in costing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and proficient in QuickBooks and bill.com.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
Handle full-charge bookkeeping responsibilities with minimal supervision
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures
Support cost accounting and inventory tracking functions
Manage vendor payments and approvals using bill.com
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and journal entries in QuickBooks
Provide reporting and analysis to management as needed
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes

Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
3 5 years of accounting experience, including full-charge bookkeeping
Experience with costing or cost accounting a strong plus
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Bill.com is required
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
