Job Title: 1st Shift Forklift Operator
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable 1st Shift Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to safety, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Operate a forklift to move materials and products throughout the warehouse efficiently and safely.
Load and unload materials from trucks and/or storage areas using the forklift.
Stack and organize products in designated areas following proper inventory procedures.
Perform routine maintenance on the forklift, such as inspecting and cleaning equipment.
Ensure all safety guidelines and protocols are followed during forklift operations.
Collaborate with warehouse team members to fulfill customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse to create a safe and productive work environment.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding inventory, equipment status, and any issues that may arise.

Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or similar setting.
Valid forklift certification/license.
Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
Good physical condition, including the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Basic math skills for counting and recording inventory.
