This position reports to the QUALITY MANAGER and performs receiving inspection, in-process inspection, final inspection and other quality related activities as required. It also supports the PRODUCTION MANAGER in the prompt and efficient movement of materials, parts and processes through the facility. This inspection regularly includes reviewing customer drawings, checking logs, process travelers and forms to ensure part and coating conformity before, during and after entering the process stream.
2.0 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
2.1 High school diploma or equivalent
2.2 Minimum 2 year experience in quality inspection or equivalent as approved by the QUALITY MANAGER.
3.0 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
3.1 Working knowledge of IPC-A-610, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies and IPC830, MIL-I-60458C.
3.2 Ability to read and interpret customer provided documents including drawings, specifications and test methods.
3.3 Knowledge of microscopes, their operation, maintenance and use.
3.4 Knowledge of digital and analog calipers and micrometers, their maintenance and operations.
3.5 Knowledge of coating, types, uses and applications.

3.6 Ability to determine the coating thicknesses including knowledge of coating coupons, witness strips, glass slides and their uses.
3.7 Ability to develop and deliver training as assigned by the QUALITY MANAGER.
3.8 Ability to use standard business software packages and to have, or acquire, application specific skills in a timely fashion.
3.9 Ability to initiate and manage CAPA's and the CAPA system.
3.10 Knowledge of Electro Static Discharge (ESD), and how to handle ESD sensitive parts. Pass ESD Training with 100%.
3.11 Ability to independently diagnose, manage and resolve problems coupled with the skills to take action to prevent recurrence.
3.12 Ability to establish priorities, work independently, work with others, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
3.13 Knowledge of company safety instructions, procedures and SDS requirements.
3.14 Knowledge of the company's Employee Handbook, rules and regulations.
3.15 Advanced knowledge of Advanced Coating's Quality Manual and Quality System
4.0 JOB DUTIES
4.1 Perform receiving inspection as described in WI-101.
4.2 Perform in-process inspection as described in WI-801.
4.3 Perform final inspection as described in WI-800.
4.4 Maintain calibration system.
4.5 Act as an internal auditor.
4.6 Attend and participate in meetings.
4.7 Perform various testing procedures in accordance with written and/or verbal instruction.
4.8 Perform various tasks, not otherwise specified, as directed by the QUALITY MANAGER.
4.9 Follow and promote the quality management system as defined in the work instructions, procedures and Quality Manual.
4.10 Follow and promote rules and regulations within the Employee Handbook.
4.11 Perform tasks with quality of the customer product in mind.
