PRODUCT DATA SPECIALIST

Summary Provides data stewardship for product data, working closely with multiple departments to gather the required information to update critical systems and responsible for stream lining the process of relaying product information to internal teams, external representatives and customers by performing the following duties.
Masters and applies product knowledge through training, day to day experience and working with product information.
Ensures the creation and maintenance of effective product attributes across multiple platforms.
Ensures data integrity across all system as well as develop and enforce product data standards and procedures.
Identifies and helps drive process improvements to the maintenance and enhancement of product data as a critical component of the company's Web integration.
Develops strong business relationships with key stake holders across the organization, including Sales, Marketing, Product, Purchasing, Import/Export and Accounting.
Applies product knowledge, critical thinking and problem solving to ensure accurate categorization for specified product categories and overall data stewardship.
Executes new product introductions and responds to product data change orders.
Works interdepartmentally to maintain, gather product data information from various partners to ensure consistency and efficiency across the business.
Assists in developing, enhancing, testing, and implementing various internal system functionality.
Continuously improves understanding of product data management procedures, and their impact to business operations, in order to provide solutions and improve decision making.
Continuously reviews and audits data to maintain accuracy and integrity across multiple departments: Pricers and Products Data Sheets.
Creates Super Buy sheets and audits Super Buys inventory availability for the Graphics Department and President flyer consideration.
Responsible for and completes data entry in CRM Product Database.
Responsible for and completes data entry in Sharepoint New item quality control and photo requests.
Identifies product needing photography and submits photo requests.
Responsible for discontinued model notifications via newsletters.
Distributes List Price Update Sheets via newsletters.
Requests photo swatch and Fabric database.
Point of contact for Sales Representatives, Customers and Order department questions related to company brands and product.
Point of contact for BOX.COM requests and questions.
Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
