Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and skilled 3rd Shift Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production during the night shift. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation:
Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Ensure machines are running efficiently and producing quality products.
Perform regular machine inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
Maintenance:
Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to prevent downtime.
Report any mechanical or operational issues to the maintenance team for timely repairs.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
Record and report any quality issues to the quality assurance team.
Safety:
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate production and maintenance logs.
Complete shift reports detailing machine performance and production output.
Collaboration:
Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth shift transitions.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions as needed.

Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Capability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
