Job Description
The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, or straighten metal and other materials as per specifications.
This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of metal fabrication processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, or straighten metal sheets and parts according to blueprints and specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and engineering plans to determine the correct machine settings and sequence of operations.
Adjust machine settings, including speed, pressure, and tooling, to achieve accurate bends and shapes.
Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required tolerances and specifications.
Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press brake machines to ensure proper functioning and longevity.
Work closely with other team members to coordinate workflow and meet production deadlines.
Troubleshoot machine issues and collaborate with maintenance personnel for repairs as needed.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in metal fabrication.
Strong understanding of press brake operations, metal forming techniques, and tooling.
