Job Description
The Distribution Customer Service Representative carries out all customer service activities such as responding to inquiries, processing orders, and order entry in a prompt, courteous and effective manner. Answering/routing telephone calls, greeting visitors, and scheduling.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Interacts in a good working relationship with customers
Responds to all inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments, inventory counts in a courteous and effective manner
Processes and inputs all customer orders
Produces all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer work orders
Coordinates special and last-minute shipping requests
Ensures proper invoicing of accounts by verifying computer generated invoices
Prepares shipping and tracing information for customers
Communicates customer feedback to management
Acts as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer
Oversees all paperwork associated with orders and maintain the corresponding files

Job Requirements
Requirements:
Strong computer knowledge including MS Office applications; with Excel proficiency
Typing 35 WPM or greater
Familiarity with 10-key
Shipping software systems including UPS and Federal Express
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
HS diploma or equivalent
