Job Description:
The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for assisting with daily accounting tasks. This includes but is not limited to maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, posting journal entries, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports. Additionally, the Accounting Clerk will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and processing invoices.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Post journal entries and reconcile accounts
Assist with financial statement preparation
Process invoices and issue payments
Reconcile bank statements
Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed
Job Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
